About the role
Six Rows Coffee & Cacao is looking for experienced baristas who love teaching. You'll lead hands-on coffee classes, tasting sessions, and barista training for the public, students, and corporate groups.
Responsibilities
- Teach espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and manual brewing methods (pour-over, French press, AeroPress, cold brew)
- Lead coffee tastings and cuppings covering origin, roast, and flavor notes
- Train new Six Rows staff and brand ambassadors on our products and service standards
- Set up, run, and clean equipment for classes and events
- Help develop class curriculum, handouts, and recipes
- Represent the Six Rows brand with warm, knowledgeable service
Qualifications
- 2+ years of barista experience (specialty coffee preferred)
- Strong espresso, milk, and manual-brew skills
- Comfortable teaching groups of 5–30 people
- Teaching, training, or coaching experience is a plus
- SCA or similar certification is a plus, not required
- Food Handler Certification (or willing to get one)
